EUROPE’S FRONT DOOR TO THE WORLD…

Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Western Europe encompasses areas such as the Iberian Peninsula, France, Benelux and the British Isles. Much like the Southern Region of Europe, this part of the continent is an area extremely popular to tourists, especially during the summer months. For most people visiting Europe from outside the continent, Western Europe is usually the area that they visit first due to its abundance of major airports and seaports.

In this part of the blog, I talk about all things to do with visiting Western Europe (excluding the UK & Ireland which feature their own dedicated section in the blog) including places you should visit, tips for travelling around this region as well as tips on keeping costs down in what is a fairly expensive region of Europe, when compared to the likes of Eastern and Southern Europe.
