Despite major wars in the past and ongoing political tension in some areas, South East Asia truly is a gem of a place to visit and should certainly be on the bucket list of every traveller! Unlike many Western regions of the world, every country in this fairly small corner of Asia is very unique and huge differences can be seen even by crossing a single border.

Some countries such as Thailand and Bali (Indonesia) have been top destinations for travellers for decades, but now countries like Myanmar are becoming the prime choice for tourists to visit! Many are choosing to get in early to see these upcoming countries authentically before mass tourism comes in and has an opportunity to spoil the beauty and potential of these places.
