Although perceived by some to be an unsafe part of Europe to visit, Eastern Europe features some incredible culture, rich history and very hospitable people. It’s true that some areas of this part of Europe are still no go areas due to ongoing conflict (notably East Ukraine and the border with Russia) however you will have nothing to fear in the rest of the region, the locals will assure you of that!

For a very long time and not until the fall of the Iron Curtain, it was near enough impossible to visit this part of the world. Today with simpler and simpler visa policies and even visa-free travel for most countries in this region, travel to this area has never been simpler!
